Incense is NOT all the same!
Not
sure which one you'd prefer? Here
is some useful info about the different
types of incense.
Oil-dipped
incense sticks:
This is very common, and allows
for a limitless number of fragrance options.
Basically, this is a sandalwood-based punk
(blank, unscented incense stick) that is
saturated in fragrance oil. Don’t
let anyone fool you – there’s a huge difference
in quality. We encourage you to do
a comparison & smell the difference
for yourself. WildBerry
incense is made with a higher-grade (and
more expensive) fragrance oil. It’s
also made with a special fixative that
keeps it fresher for a very, VERY long
time. We can honestly say without
reservation that we have NEVER EVER had
any of our WildBerry incense get stale
or lose one bit of its fragrance.
It’s just that good.
100%
Natural Incense Sticks
(usually hand-rolled, often imported)
This is incense that is made entirely
of resins & natural ingredients --
nothing synthetic. Much of this incense
that we sell is made overseas; some of
the best natural incense in the world comes
from India. This is what we consider
“traditional” incense – it’s more like
the incense that has been burned for centuries
in temples & that which has been used
for ceremonial purposes. The fragrance
of natural incense is VERY different than
oil-dipped incense. Some people prefer
it, and some don’t. We recommend
that you try some & see how you like
it. We suggest that you try some
traditional Nag
Champa sticks – they’re our best selling
natural incense & one of our personal
favorites.
